Crackin’ Wax Case Breaks

It is your sole responsibility to know and understand the rules and procedures of these case breaks before proceeding. By joining, participating in and paying for any slot in any case break, you agree to the rules and conditions posted below. Crackin’ Wax cannot and shall not be held responsible or liable for failure to adhere to this agreement.

Here are the standard rules for each case break held here at Crackin’ Wax. Please be sure to read this page thoroughly before signing up for ANY case break here. Some Crackin’ Wax case breaks will have their own rules but most will adhere to these general rules.

All cards from all boxes contained within each respective case will be used for each case break. You pick the team slot(s) you would like, pay for your slot(s), and we’ll send you your new cards after the break! You WILL receive at least ONE (1) card in any Crackin’ Wax Case Break that you join or your money back! Our case breaks are done for charity. We donate 10% of the cost of every sold team slot per each respective case break to that break’s assigned charity.

We do not post final slot pricing until full checklists have been supplied. Until final slot pricing is made available, you have the opportunity to reserve any available team slot you’re interested in by paying a non-refundable $20 deposit per slot. Should you make any deposits, you will be invoiced a balance due for each respective break you join once that break’s final slot pricing has been determined. Once invoiced a balance due for a Crackin’ Wax Case Break, you must make full payment of that invoice before that break’s scheduled break date. Failure to make full payments will result in the automatic forfeiture of any unpaid slots.

All case breaks will be broadcast live on the Crackin’ Wax YouTube Channel after either all slots have been fully paid or after the product arrives–whichever comes last*. This scheduling condition is subject to change for each respective break. We will be focusing more on the hits and other cards of interest in order to keep the video at a reasonable length. Video of the case breaks will be uploaded to YouTube and will be made available on the blog.

In the event that a card of any type containing multiple players from multiple teams is pulled, that card will be distributed thusly:

  • The team majority owner of the card (i.e. 2 Team A + 1 Team B on 1 card goes to Team A owner), or
  • The slot majority owner of the card (i.e. 1 Team A + 1 Team B + 1 Team C on 1 card goes to owner with most slots on card), or
  • Highest slot price owner (i.e. 1 $10 Team + 1 $5 Team + 1 $2 Team on 1 card goes to highest slot price), or
  • Random highest slot price owner (i.e. 1 $5 Team A + 1 $5 Team B + 1 $2 Team C on 1 card goes to randomly picked winner)
In the event that a card is pulled in which the team represented is now playing in another city and/or has changed names, it will be assigned to its current counterpart’s slot. For instance, all Montreal Expos cards will be assigned to the Washington Nationals.
